Feed Raw delivers raw dog and cat food to homes across Auckland and the Waikato. You order online by the weekly cut-off, we make your food the following week, and our own team drops it at your door on your area’s delivery day. It arrives chilled and goes straight in the freezer.

Raw dog food delivery works a little differently from ordering a bag of kibble, because nothing sits on a shelf waiting for you. Here’s how an order goes from the website to your freezer.
Where we deliver
We deliver across Auckland and the Waikato, on set runs each week. Auckland is split into a few runs, from the North Shore and Hibiscus Coast to West Auckland and the south, and the Waikato run covers the main centres and the towns around them. Our Auckland delivery page and Waikato delivery page list the suburbs and towns on each run.
The quickest way to check is the address checker on our delivery page. Type your address and it tells you whether we deliver there and which day your order would arrive.
How an order works
- Order online by the cut-off. Orders close at 11:59pm on our weekly cut-off day. Checkout shows the date your order will arrive before you pay, so there’s no guessing.
- We make it. Everything is made to order the following week, so your food hasn’t been sitting in a warehouse.
- We deliver it. Our own team delivers on your area’s day and leaves it at your door if you’re out.
- You freeze it. Your order arrives chilled. Put it in the freezer as soon as you can, keeping out whatever you’ll use in the next couple of days.
Orders placed after the cut-off go on the following week’s run.
What arrives
Raw food is sold in bulk cartons, which keeps the price per kilo down:
| What | How it’s packed | Carton size |
|---|---|---|
| Mixes and minces | 10 kg, cut into blocks | about 30 × 20 × 15 cm |
| Raw bones | 10 kg | about 35 × 25 × 15 cm |
| Rolls | ten 1.8 kg rolls, 18 kg | one carton |
The blocks mean you only thaw what you need. Our guide to thawing and storing raw food covers what to do when the carton lands.
One-off orders and subscriptions
You can order once, or set up a subscription that repeats every 1 to 8 weeks. Most of our range can go on a subscription, and you choose the frequency on the product page or in the feed calculator, which also works out how many cartons cover the number of weeks you pick.
If your freezer is still full when the next delivery is due, email us and we’ll put it on hold until you’re ready.
The delivery fee
There’s one delivery fee per order, and it depends on your area. Checkout shows it before you pay. Because the fee is per order, a bigger order every few weeks spreads it further than a small order every week.
Freezer space
Bulk buying needs somewhere to put it. A 10 kg carton fits in most kitchen freezers, but if you feed a big dog or more than one, a small chest freezer in the garage makes life much easier. Our guide to how much raw food to feed shows how long a carton lasts for dogs of different sizes.
Common questions
Do I need to be home for the delivery?
No. We leave your order at the door. Put it in the freezer when you get in.
How long does it take to arrive?
About a week. Your order is made the week after the cut-off and delivered on your area’s day. Checkout shows the exact date.
Do you deliver outside Auckland and the Waikato?
Not at the moment. If you’re just outside the areas on our delivery pages, try the address checker, then get in touch if it says no.
Can I order raw cat food on the same delivery?
Yes. Our raw cat food comes on the same runs, in the same cartons.
