Description

Built for dogs that do more

Active Dog Mix is a high-performance raw blend combining beef, horse, offal and green tripe. Designed to fuel working dogs, sporting breeds and high-energy pets with the nutrients they need most. The combination of lean beef and horse keeps the fat content moderate while the protein stays high — a profile that suits dogs that burn plenty of energy on the job or in training. It’s also an easy way to add variety to a rotational raw diet, giving working dogs a protein base beyond the usual beef-only mixes.

What’s in Active Dog Mix

Beef & Horse — Lean, complete proteins sourced from NZ farms. Horse is particularly low in fat and high in iron, so it’s an excellent protein for dogs with high energy demands.

Offal (Liver, Heart & Kidney) — Together, these organs are a concentrated source of vitamin A, B12, folate, iron, taurine and CoQ10. Because they’re whole-food organ meat, they deliver micronutrients that are difficult to replicate through any other means.

Green Tripe — In addition, raw green tripe contains naturally occurring digestive enzymes, lactobacillus acidophilus and a near-perfect calcium to phosphorus ratio. As a result, it’s widely regarded as one of the most beneficial additions to a raw diet.

Good for sensitivities

Because Active Dog Mix contains no chicken, lamb, goat or fish, it suits pets that are sensitive to those proteins.

Feeding guide

As a guide, adult dogs are typically fed around 2–3% of their body weight in raw food per day, split across one or two meals — active and working dogs usually sit at the higher end of that range. First, defrost overnight in the fridge, then serve at room temperature. If your dog is new to raw feeding, introduce Active Dog Mix gradually over 7–10 days alongside their current food.

Pairs well with

For dental health and natural calcium, pair it with Beef Neck Bones or Beef Brisket Bones.
