Balance Mix is designed to give you full control over your pet’s nutritional intake. Rather than a standalone meal, it’s a nutrient-dense balancer — so you simply mix it 1:2 with any of our single proteins or mixes and you’ll closely hit the recommended dietary ratios for the B.A.R.F (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) diet. Because the offal and bone content is already measured for you, Balance Mix takes the guesswork out of feeding a balanced raw diet.
How to use Balance Mix
First, remove one cube of Balance Mix and two cubes of your protein of choice, then defrost, mix and serve. It’s that simple. As a result, you get the flexibility to rotate proteins through the week while keeping the nutritional balance consistent. Overall, it works with any of our single protein minces or blends.
What’s in Balance Mix
Green Tripe — Raw green tripe is a nutrient-rich whole food with a near-perfect calcium to phosphorus ratio. Indeed, it’s one of the most valued inclusions in a raw diet.
Liver — Exceptionally high in vitamin A, B12, folate and iron. Moreover, it’s one of the most nutrient-dense whole foods available and a rich source of micronutrients.
Chicken Mince — Included for its soft bone content, it provides a natural and highly bioavailable source of calcium and phosphorus for correct mineral balance in a raw diet.
Kidney — Rich in B12, riboflavin and selenium, with a deep, savoury flavour that dogs love.
Tongue — A highly palatable muscle meat with a strong amino acid profile and good levels of zinc and iron.
Cheek — A lean, flavoursome muscle meat that adds variety and a rich amino acid profile.
Heart — A natural source of taurine and CoQ10, and a highly palatable organ meat for both dogs and cats.
