Our Goat Mince is raw goat mince for dogs and cats, made from 100% New Zealand goat and nothing else. Goat is one of the less common meats in pet food, so it’s a good pick for owners moving away from beef and chicken, or simply giving their pet something new.
What’s in it
Just New Zealand goat, minced and packed in blocks. No other meats, fillers or additives, so you know exactly what your pet is eating.
Free from
No beef, chicken, lamb, fish, horse, venison, alpaca or grain. It is one of the few products in our range with no beef or chicken at all, along with Wild Mix, Goat Bones and Lamb & Heart Rolls.
How to feed it
Goat Mince is the meat part of the bowl, about 80% on the 80/10/10 rule of thumb, with raw bone and organ making up the rest. If goat is new to your pet, bring it in over 7 to 10 days. Most adult dogs eat about 2 to 3% of their body weight a day, and our feed calculator works out the amount for your dog or cat. Our guide to novel proteins for dogs explains how to introduce goat. It works the same way as our other minces, so you can swap it in without changing your routine.
Keep it frozen and move a block to the fridge the night before you need it. Once thawed, it keeps two to three days. A 10 kg box lasts a 10 kg dog about 6 weeks, a 20 kg dog about 3 weeks and a 30 kg dog about 2 weeks on the calculator’s adult amounts.
Pairs well with
For dogs, add Goat Bones for the bone part of the diet and you have a week built on one protein, or rotate in Wild Mix for variety that still leaves out beef and chicken. For cats as well as dogs, Lamb & Heart Rolls do the same job.

Delivered to your door
Goat Mince is made to order in the Waikato and delivered chilled across Auckland and the Waikato. Each 10 kg box is cut into blocks, so you only thaw what you need. Blocks are about 500 g each, stacked in a liner inside a 36 × 27 × 18 cm carton.

When is the order cut-off?
Our cut-off is 11:59pm on Saturday. Order by then and your food arrives the following week.
Do you deliver to my address?
We deliver across suburban Auckland and Waikato. Check your address to see if we come to you and which day.
How does it arrive?
Packed in a liner inside a carton and delivered chilled by our own team. Most customers pop it straight in the freezer and thaw what they need.
Can I change my subscription later?
Yes. Log in to My account to see your subscription and change its delivery address, or get in touch and we'll sort anything else for you.
Trying Feed Raw for the first time?
Most of our customers already fed raw before they came to us, and we don't expect any issues with your first box. If something isn't right, get in touch within 14 days of delivery and a normal person will sort it out with you. That's for your first order with us, once per household. Faulty orders are covered by our returns policy.
