Which blend suits your dog?
Start with what your dog can and can’t eat. Here is what goes into each one:
- Active Dog Mix: beef, horse, offal and green tripe. Built for active and working dogs.
- Breeders Mix: beef, horse, goat and offal. A cost-effective option for breeders and multi-dog homes.
- Puppy Mix: beef, chicken, offal and green tripe.
- Fussy Mix: veal, chicken, liver and offal. Made for fussy eaters, and suitable for dogs and cats.
- Wild Mix: horse, goat, venison and alpaca, with offal. No beef or chicken.
- Balance Mix: chicken, offal and green tripe. A balancer to mix one part to two parts of your chosen protein, rather than a meal on its own.
- Rolls: Chicken & Fish Rolls and Lamb & Heart Rolls, in 1.8 kg rolls, ten to a carton.
Beef and veal are listed separately, so tick both to leave out all cattle. Green tripe comes from adult cattle, so it counts as beef.
Use the allergen filter above the products to hide anything your dog can’t have.
Blends: common questions
What is the difference between a blend and a mince?
A mince is a single protein, like Beef Mince or Chicken Mince. A blend combines several proteins in one box, and most include offal. Our guide to liver and organ meat explains where offal fits.
Is Balance Mix a meal on its own?
No. Balance Mix is a balancer: mix one part Balance Mix with two parts of a mince or blend.
How are blends packed?
Mixes come in 10 kg boxes, cut into blocks to make serving easier, so you only thaw what you need. Rolls come as ten 1.8 kg rolls in an 18 kg carton.
How do I store and thaw them?
Keep cartons in the freezer and thaw only what you need, in the fridge rather than on the bench.
Can I switch between blends?
Yes. If your dog has not had a protein before, introduce it gradually by mixing it in with what they already eat. Our guides to novel proteins and horse meat for dogs have more.
