Fussy Mix is raw food for fussy dogs and cats. It brings veal and chicken together with liver and offal, which gives it the rich smell and flavour that tends to win over picky eaters. If you have tried food after food and the bowl still comes back half full, this is the mix we suggest first.
What’s in it
- Veal. From young New Zealand cattle, with a milder flavour than beef.
- Chicken. A mild meat most dogs and cats already know.
- Liver. Strong-tasting organ meat, and a big part of the smell picky eaters respond to.
- Offal. Heart and kidney, the rest of the organ part of the bowl.
Free from
No lamb, goat, fish, horse, venison, alpaca or grain. It does contain veal and chicken. We list veal separately from beef, because some dogs that can’t have beef do fine on veal.
Getting a fussy eater started
Start small. Mix a spoonful of Fussy Mix into the food your pet already eats, then add a little more each day over a week or so. Serve it at room temperature rather than straight from the fridge, since a cold bowl smells of very little. Pairs well with
For dogs, add a raw veal bone a few times a week, like Veal Neck Bones or Veal Brisket Bones. For a change of flavour that still feels familiar, rotate in Chicken Mince.

Fussy Mix is made to order in the Waikato and delivered chilled across Auckland and the Waikato. Each 10 kg box is cut into blocks, so you only thaw what you need.

We deliver across suburban Auckland and Waikato. Check your address to see if we come to you and which day.
How does it arrive?
Packed in a liner inside a carton and delivered chilled by our own team. Most customers pop it straight in the freezer and thaw what they need.
Can I change my subscription later?
