Description
Why Fussy Mix works — even for the hard cases
Fussy Mix is made from 100% New Zealand farmed veal and chicken, with added liver and offal. First, it is a biologically appropriate meal. Next, it is genuinely palatable — which is why it consistently wins over selective dogs and cats that turn their noses up at everything else.
What’s in Fussy Mix
Veal and chicken — Both are sourced from NZ farms. Veal is lean and easily digestible, and lower in saturated fat than adult beef. Likewise, chicken adds palatability and is rich in niacin (B3) and selenium, which support cellular metabolism and antioxidant function.
Liver — Liver is exceptionally high in vitamin A, B12, folate and iron. Moreover, it is one of the most nutrient-dense whole foods available, supplying micronutrients often missing from commercial pet diets.
Offal (heart and kidney) — Heart provides natural taurine and CoQ10, both essential for cardiac health in cats and dogs. Kidney adds B12, riboflavin and selenium to support energy metabolism.
Fussy Mix for pets with sensitivities
Fussy Mix contains only veal, chicken, liver and offal. As a result, it is naturally free from lamb, goat, fish, horse and grain. Note that veal is young beef, so this blend is not suitable for pets with a beef or veal sensitivity.
How to feed it
Feed Fussy Mix as a complete daily meal for both dogs and cats. For a fully balanced raw diet, follow the simple 80/10/10 guide — 80% muscle meat, 10% raw bone and 10% organ — and add a raw bone to the bowl a few times each week.
Pairs well with
To complete the diet, add a raw bone from the same protein family. Beef and veal share a family, so they keep things consistent for sensitive pets. Try Beef Neck Bones for smaller dogs and cats, or Beef Brisket Bones for larger dogs.
