One part Balance Mix, two parts protein
Balance Mix is a raw BARF mix for dogs that adds organ, tripe and bone-in chicken to the bowl in one block. It puts green tripe, liver, kidney, heart, tongue, cheek and chicken mince together, so you don’t have to weigh each of them out separately for every meal. As a rule of thumb, mix one part Balance Mix with two parts of any of our minces or mixes.
What’s in it
- Green tripe. Unbleached stomach lining, a long-time favourite with raw feeders.
- Liver, kidney and heart. Offal, about 10% of a raw diet on the 80/10/10 rule of thumb.
- Tongue and cheek. Rich, hard-working muscle meats with plenty of flavour.
- Chicken mince. Minced with the bone, which brings the bone part into the bowl.
How to use it
The night before, move one block of Balance Mix and two blocks of your chosen protein from the freezer to the fridge. Next day, mix them together and serve at room temperature. The ratio stays the same whatever protein you pick, so you can rotate through beef, veal, goat and chicken over the week with the same routine. Free from
No lamb, goat, fish, horse, venison, alpaca or grain. It does contain beef and chicken: the liver, kidney, heart, tongue and cheek are beef, and green tripe counts as beef too.

Balance Mix is made to order in the Waikato and delivered chilled across Auckland and the Waikato. It comes in a 10 kg box, cut into blocks so the one-to-two routine is easy to keep.

Packed in a liner inside a carton and delivered chilled by our own team. Most customers pop it straight in the freezer and thaw what they need.
