Match the bone to your dog’s diet

The simplest way to choose is to match the bone to the protein your dog already eats. It keeps the diet consistent, which matters most for dogs with sensitivities.

Use the allergen filter above the products to hide anything your dog can’t have.

Raw dog bones: common questions

Are the bones raw or cooked?

Raw. Never feed cooked bones of any kind: cooking makes bones brittle, and they can splinter. Wondering about other bones? See our guides to lamb bones and chicken necks.

How often should I feed bones?

As a rule of thumb, raw bone makes up about 10% of a raw diet (the bone part of the 80/10/10 guide), so a bone a few times a week alongside muscle meat and organ is a common approach. Our guide to which raw bones dogs can eat goes into more detail.

How do I store and thaw them?

Keep the carton in the freezer and take out only what you need. Thaw bones in the fridge, not on the bench.

Do I need to supervise my dog?

Yes. Always supervise your dog with a bone, and take it away once it is small enough to swallow whole.

Can I buy a single bone?

No. Our bones only come in 10 kg cartons, delivered with your order. If you need a single bone today, a local pet shop is your best bet.
