Choosing raw food for your dog
Most raw feeders build the bowl from muscle meat, some offal and raw bone, and rotate a few proteins. Here is where each part of our range fits:
- Blends: Active Dog Mix, Breeders Mix, Fussy Mix, Puppy Mix and Wild Mix each combine two or more proteins with offal in one box, so there is less to mix yourself.
- Single-protein minces: Beef Mince, Chicken Mince, Veal Mince and Goat Mince, each made from one meat. A simple base if your dog needs to stay away from a protein.
- Balance Mix: chicken, beef offal and green tripe. It is a balancer, so mix one part with two parts of a mince or blend.
- Green Tripe: unbleached green tripe with nothing added, in a 10 kg box of blocks.
- Rolls: Chicken & Fish Rolls and Lamb & Heart Rolls, in 1.8 kg rolls, ten to an 18 kg carton.
- Raw bones: beef, veal and goat bones in 10 kg cartons. Pick the bone that matches the meat your dog already eats.

We list veal separately from beef, because some dogs that can’t have beef do fine on veal. Green tripe comes from adult cattle, so it counts as beef. Use the allergen filter above the products to hide anything your dog can’t have.
Raw dog food: common questions
How much raw food does a dog eat?
Most adult dogs eat about 2 to 3% of their body weight a day, depending on how active they are, so a 20 kg dog eats around 400 to 600 g. Our raw food calculator works it out for your dog.
How long does a 10 kg box last?
At about 500 g a day, one 10 kg box feeds a 20 kg dog for around 20 days. Mixes, minces and green tripe are cut into blocks, so you only thaw what you need.
How do I switch my dog to raw food?
Go gradually. Mix a little raw food into their usual food and increase it over one to two weeks. Our guide to switching your dog to raw food has a step-by-step plan.
How do I store and thaw it?
Keep cartons in the freezer and thaw only what you need, in the fridge rather than on the bench. Our guide to thawing and storing raw dog food has more.
